Cumulus Reverie

Cumulus Reverie began as a work for flute and cello by Philip Spaeth, commissioned by Melanie in 2019 for flute and cello. Since then, the work has become part of an hour-long guided exploration of music and its connection to visual media. Tiny Planet Productions created an animated short film to accompany the piece, which has been selected for the Albany Film Festival and the Woodstock Film Festival.

This workshop is suitable for all ages. We have presented this workshop at the Capital District Music Hub at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, the Richmond Memorial Library in Batavia, NY; the Saratoga Springs Public Library, and will present at the Hyde Museum in Albany, NY in the fall.
